Protecting your privacy is very important to us. We only use your information where we have a legal basis to do so. This Privacy Policy will help you understand what information we collect, how we use it, and what happens when you play any of our games or use any of our apps, use our website, buy from us, or attend a live event. Selection and Promotions ("Services").

Our Privacy Policy is designed to give you a full understanding of the steps we are taking to protect the personal information you share with us, and we always encourage you to read it in its entirety. 1. Personal information we collect and how we collect it

When you interact with or use our Services, we are collecting personal information about you. Sometimes we collect personal information automatically when you interact with our Services (e.g., information about how you interact with our Services) and sometimes we collect the personal information directly from you when you use our Services (e.g., information you give us when setting up your account or user profile). At times, we may collect personal information about you from other sources and third parties, including other players.

Information We Collect Automatically or From You Directly

Registration Information

We may offer you the option to complete a user profile that is visible to other Studio users (“Account"). If you create an Account, you may provide us your name, a username, e-mail address, a password and other information that helps us confirm that it is you accessing your Account. We may do this through in-game dialog boxes, which you may choose to skip. If you sign into the Services with Facebook Connect, we will collect information that is visible via your Facebook account such as: (1) your first and last name, (2) Facebook ID, (3) Profile Picture/Image/URL, and (4) list of Facebook friends. Your Account may be used to publicly identify you as part of social features of the Services, which may include user-to-user interaction, chat or messaging functionality, public leaderboards, head-to-head competition, and other similar features. Your username associated with your Account will be public and will be shown to other users. In addition, your username will allow others to access information on your user profile that is considered public or that you have designated as public in your user profile settings.

Address Book Information

We may also offer you the ability to choose to import your contacts or manually enter e-mail addresses so that you can locate your contacts on Studio and invite your contacts to join you in the Services. This information is typically collected through the use of third-party mobile device software development kits. If you choose to import your contacts or manually enter e-mail addresses, we will store those contacts for purposes of helping you and your contacts make connections through our Services. You are responsible for ensuring your sharing of this information with us is compliant with applicable laws. In some countries, this may require you to get permission from the people you invite before you share their information.

Technical and Usage Information

When you access our Services, we may use cookies and other similar technologies to collect (i) certain technical information about your mobile device or computer system, including IP Address, mobile device ID (IDFA, Google Advertising ID or other identifiers), and the version of your operating system; and (ii) usage statistics about your interactions with the Services, including the links, objects, products and benefits you view, click or otherwise interact with (also known as “Clickstream Data"). Our emails may also contain tracking pixels that identify if and when you have opened an email that we have sent you, how many times you have read it and whether you have clicked on any links in that email. In connection with your use of certain Services, we will create and assign to your device an identifier that is similar to an account number. In addition, in certain circumstances, we may collect the name you have associated with your device, device type, telephone number, country, and any other information you choose to provide, such as username, character name, or e-mail address. We may also infer your approximate geographic location based on your IP address.

Payment Information

When you order any good or service through the Services, including any virtual currency or virtual good, we collect certain non-financial transaction information related to these purchases, including what you purchased, the price, and the date. Your in-app purchase transactions are processed by third-party payment processors, such as Apple (for purchases on iOS devices), Google (for purchases on Android devices), or Amazon (for purchases on Kindle devices). The third-party payment processors will collect your name, phone number, e-mail address, mailing address, billing address, and complete credit card information to enable them to process your payment. The third-party payment processors may also retain this information to enable you to purchase additional items through our Services without having to re-enter your payment information each time. Please note third-party payment processors do not share your financial information, like credit card numbers, with us. In addition, please note that the third-party payment processors’ processing of transactions and collection and use of your personal information is governed by their terms of service and privacy policy, and purchases through these third parties may also be subject to additional policies. We encourage you to review the terms of service and privacy policies of those third parties to learn more about how they handle your personal information.

Information Collected by or Provided to Customer Support

When you ask for assistance from our Customer Support team, we will collect and store the contact information you provide (generally your name and e-mail address), information about your game-play or activity on the Services, and your username or ID number. We will also store the correspondence and information within the correspondence that you choose to share with us.

Communication Preferences

We may collect information about your interests and communication preferences that you choose to provide, such as when subscribing to news or alerts.

2. How we use your information

We use your personal and non-personal information, both individually and in aggregate, in the following ways:

To operate our business and to enhance and personalize your game experience, including to:

Operate, improve, and develop our games and services;

Populate online leaderboards and enable online challenges;

Help you find your friends or tell your friends about a product;

Facilitate sharing on social networks;

Serve and measure the effectiveness of advertising;

Measure the health of our services;

Provide game experiences customized to your preferences;

Facilitate your gameplay on multiple devices, when available;

Identify, fix, and troubleshoot bugs and service errors;

Provide software updates;

Save game progress and stats;

Adhere to your preferences and to deliver dynamic content; and

Help keep our services safe and fair, resolve disputes, investigate and help curb fraud and illegal behavior, comply with the law, and to enforce our agreements and policies.

To provide you support, including to:

Help identify and troubleshoot problems with your account or games;

To survey your opinions through surveys or questionnaires;

Communicate with you and respond to your specific requests or questions; and

Manage and send you confirmations and important information about your products.

To personalize our communications with you, including to:

Present offers or information relating to games you might like;

Make recommendations to you; and

Personalize advertising for you and deliver targeted marketing, service updates and promotional offers.

We uses analytics services to understand how users engage with our products. Our analysis relies on your consistent device identifier, or identifier for vendor (IDFV) on Apple devices, so that we can track your behavior over time and develop an understanding of how you prefer to interact with our products. If you have more than one our product installed on your device, those products may share the same identifier value. This enables us to develop an understanding of how you engage with all of our products you have installed. The identifier value is provided to us through the operating system on your device. In the course of processing your data, we may do any of the following:

Analyze your behavior in our products over time;

Analyze your behavior in aggregate;

Combine your information with the information of other players to create anonymized aggregate reports that allow us to understand large-scale behavior trends;

Analyze your information to understand how well our products perform on your device or to investigate bugs, crashes, and other technical issues;

Combine your information with the information of other players to create customer segments based on behavior in our products or location-based behavior;

Use analysis of your behavior in our products to provide you with customized gameplay experiences;

Use your device identifier to enroll you in an A/B test. An A/B test is a type of simple behavioral experiment wherein groups of users are provided with slightly different experiences in our products so that we can research and analyze which of the experiences is the most compelling to users of our products; and

Analyze your behavior in the context of an A/B test.

European Economic Area (EEA) Only:

Per requirements under the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we log your consent state for compliance purposes. This information is stored on servers hosted in the EU and is used solely for GDPR compliance. Your device identifier is stored along with your consent status. If you consent to personalized advertising, your device advertising identifier also is stored in case we need to be able to access it to assist you with data portability or erasure requests. Your device advertising identifier is not stored in our consent logging database if you do not consent to personalized advertising.

3. Information we share with third parties

We do not share personal information that directly identifies you (such as your name, email, or postal address) with independent third parties without your consent, unless it is required by law or we determine that disclosure is critical to protect our rights, property, or operations or to protect our players or third parties. We may share anonymous (including pseudonymous identifiers) or aggregated information, or other data that does not directly identify you, with third parties, for instance your persona on leaderboards or to show trends about use of our products.

We employ third parties located in and outside of your country of residence (including outside of the European Economic Area (EEA)) to collect or process personal information on our behalf for various reasons, such as conducting market surveys or analyzing gameplay event data. When our third party agents or service providers collect or receive personal information, we require that they use the data only on our behalf and for purposes consistent with this policy.

However, in the event of a reorganization, divestiture, merger, sale or bankruptcy, we may transfer all information we collect to the relevant third party and will obtain your consent to do so if required by law.

We do not control information sent from your browser to third parties, such as advertising networks and analytics companies that receive information in the normal course of your Internet activity. When third party technologies or social tools are integrated into our products, those third parties may collect information when you use our products. An example is the Facebook “Like" button.

European Economic Area (EEA) Only:

We use your device settings and SIM card registered country to determine whether we believe you are located in the EEA. That processing is done on your device.

If your device indicates that you are located in the EEA:

We prompt you for your age to determine whether you are old enough to lawfully consent to tracking of your device identifier and advertising identifier; and

If you are of legal age to consent in your country of residence, we prompt you for consent to serve personalized advertising.

4. Age guidelines

Protecting children's privacy is extremely important to us. We also encourage parents and/or guardians to always take an active role in their child's online experience.

Our products are not intended for use by children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA) under the age of 16 or a minor is in your country of residence, please seek permission from your legal guardian to use or access our products. Additional age-based privacy information specific to California residents is set forth below in the Privacy Notice for California Residents. If you believe that we have inadvertently collected information about your child, please contact us (information below) so that we can promptly delete this information.

5. How long we will keep your Personal Data

We keep your Personal Data for as long as we need to provide the Services to you and fulfil the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. This is also the case for anyone that we share your information with and who carry out services on our behalf.

When we no longer need to use your Personal Data and there is no need for us to keep it to comply with our legal or regulatory obligations, we will either remove it from our systems or anonymize it so that it can no longer be associated with you. When removing Personal Data, we will take commercially reasonable and technically feasible measures to make said Personal Data irrecoverable or irreproducible.

We have implemented security measures to ensure that our internal procedures meet our high security policy standards. Accordingly, we strive to protect the quality and integrity of your personal information. This includes encryption of data and use of pseudonymisation, whenever applicable.

You are at any time entitled to be informed and/or access the personal information about you that we process, but with certain legislative exceptions. You have the right to:

ii) have your personal data updated, rectified, erased or blocked;

iii) receive information about you that you have provided to us;

iv) opt out of certain uses and disclosures of your personal information; and

v) have your personal information transmitted to another data controller (data portability). In order for you to exercise your data protection rights we are obliged to verify your identity.

We can only verify your identity if you are logged in on one of our Services. You will therefore only be able to exercise your rights if you log in and follow the steps as explained.
